Kylie Jenner revealed what she nearly named her son, Aire, during an interview with British Vogue while battling postpartum depression.
Before settling on his final moniker, the 27-year-old makeup mogul revealed that 'for a long time' she referred to her baby boy as Knight.
Although she is more than satisfied with her final choice in what to call her youngest child, the reality star joked that her daughter, Stormi, 'still to this day' will ask if she remembers 'when Aire’s name was Knight.'
The six-year-old, who the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum shares with Travis Scott, also insists to her mom that she likes the name, Knight, 'better' than Aire.
When the conversation comes up, however, Jenner just brushes it off and pretends not to remember that chapter.

Before settling on Aire, she and her former partner,33, selected the name, Wolf, but quickly decided that the name didn't suit him.
In March 2022, just a month after his birth, Jenner clarified that Wolf was no longer her son's name.
'We just really didn't feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere,' the billionaire explained, at the time.
Just ahead of her son's first birthday, she shared his new name, Aire, which means 'Lion of God.'
During her British Vogue interview, Jenner got vulnerable as she shared that she is 'finally feeling like' herself again.
'[Looking back] I think, being pregnant, I wore sweatpants every day, I didn’t have time to figure out even some of the little things in my life, and then postpartum lasted a year. Mentally, it’s really hard. Hormonally, it’s really hard,' she explained.
Following Aire's birth, Jenner noted that she endured 'major baby blues.'
'It hit me differently both times. Probably with my son it was major baby blues, so I was just so emotional over things that I probably wouldn’t be that emotional about [typically],' she told the outlet.

Jenner recalled being on the phone 'all day' with her mother, Kris Jenner, 'crying' as struggled to 'figure out [Aire's] name.'
'Now my advice to all my friends having children is pick the name before, because when the hormones hit you can’t make decisions. You can’t,' she said.
At the time, the mother-of-two said not being able to choose a name for her baby boy made her feel like a 'failure.'
'When I met him, he was just the most beautiful thing to me and I couldn’t believe just how perfect he was. I felt like such a failure that I couldn’t name him,' she remembered. 'He deserved so much more than that. It just really triggered me.'

Over the years, Jenner has been candid with fans about her postpartum struggles.
During a 2022 episode of her family's reality show The Kardashians, she admitted that she suffered from the 'baby blues' and 'cried non-stop all day for the first three weeks' after giving birth to Aire.
'It's just the baby blues,' the TV personality told viewers. 'And then it kind of goes away.'
Still, Jenner said shedding so many tears made even 'laying in bed' was painful because her 'head would just hurt so bad.'
In a confessional, she elaborated: 'I'm not a doctor but I read on Google, they call it "baby blues" when it doesn't last past six weeks. After about six weeks I started to feel better. But I definitely had the case of the blues.'

She also offered words of encouragement to other mothers as she got candid about her postpartum struggles.
'I just want to say to my postpartum moms that postpartum has not been easy. It's not been easy, it's very hard,' she said in her Instagram Stories. 'This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter.'
She added: 'It's not easy mentally, physically, spiritually... it's just crazy. I didn't want to just get back to life without saying that because I think we can look on the Internet and for other moms going through it right now, we can go on the Internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and, like, the pressure on us, but it hasn't been easy for me.
'It's been hard. And I just wanted to say that. I didn't even think I'd make it to this work out today, but I'm here and I'm feeling better, so you've got this.'
'And, it's OK not to be OK,' she said. 'Once I realized that, I was putting some pressure on myself, and I just keep reminding myself, I made a whole human.'
'A beautiful healthy boy, and we have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back - not even physically, just mentally after birth. So ya, just sending some love. I love you guys.'
