Jennifer Garner takes Fin to pottery making and coloring studio in LA - after Jennifer Lopez took her stepson Samuel shopping amid Ben Affleck divorce drama

Jennifer Garner and her child Fin enjoyed some quality time together in Los Angeles. 

The actress, 52, and her 15-year-old were spotted heading to a pottery making and coloring studio on Monday.

But Jennifer seemed to have some trouble with her car key as she made several flustered expressions while seemingly attempting to lock her door. 

Before parting ways with her vehicle, she made sure the meter was filled up to avoid getting a pesky ticket. 

Jennifer - who was seen at the farmers market over the weekend - wore a grey T-shirt, navy blue leggings, grey sneakers, and wore her hair in a ponytail for the occasion.

She had numerous belongings in hand, including her tangerine encased cellphone, glasses, and can of sparkling water.

Jennifer shares Fin as well as daughter Violet, 18, and son Samuel, 12, with her ex-husband Ben Affleck.

The duo were at one point joined by Violet, who embraced her mother. The Alias actress gave her a sweet kiss on the cheek. 

For the last few months, Ben has been rumored to have been embroiled in marital woes with his second wife Jennifer Lopez. 

On Monday, Jennifer was spotted on a rare outing with her stepson Samuel after spending time with her 'estranged' husband at his LA home. 

The 54-year-old superstar, who hasn't been seen with the 51-year-old Batman actor in months, appeared in great spirits as she treated the 12-year-old to a shopping spree at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills.

Wearing a stylish white romper and bright green high tops, the Maid in Manhattan star embraced Samuel as they navigated through the upscale store.

She styled her signature sandy blonde hair long and loose, complementing her casually chic outfit with designer sunglasses and gold hoop earrings.

Later, the darling duo emerged with several shopping bags in hand, with JLo keeping close to her stepson as they headed back to their black SUV.

The estranged couple has been mired in split rumors for months, and DailyMail.com revealed they already prepared divorce papers, set to be filed at a later time.

Sources also told Page Six that Ben has held off filing for divorce in a bid to 'protect' Jennifer, after it was reported that the pair are no longer on speaking terms.

An insider said: 'He's humiliated her because she made a big deal that he's the love of her life. They just had two weddings two years ago. This is some kind of a record; they're not young kids.'
