An Arizona school district official has sparked uproar after crude posts he shared online about Vice President Kamala Harris.
James Knox made the posts, which have been described as degrading, about the presidential hopeful on his Facebook page, and has since deleted them.
According to AZFamily, those posts include one meme with a picture of Harris holding a chocolate bar labeled with the words old d*** on it.
Another is said to have shown the silhouette of a woman performing a sex act on two, which was labeled 'Harris 2024'.
Others are reported to have described her as being a 'DEI hire', or openly mocked the LGBTQ youth with the phrase 'Straight Pride'.

The posts were brought to the attention of the Queen Creek Unified School District, who Knox works for as a board member.
A group of employees at the District are outraged over the posts, describing them as being sexist and derogatory.
Connie Romano, an administrative assistant with the district, said: 'I personally thought they were horrendous. Degrading, misogynistic and horrible.
'Let’s be honest, she is never going to see those posts but there are students in our community.
'There are young ladies who would think, "That is his view of women? That is his view of women in power?"'
'It will be up to voters in Queen Creek to decide if this is someone they want representing them on the school board.'
While Sherry Towns, a principal in the district, told 12news: 'Personally, I’d like to see him take accountability and apologize for this.
'As a board member, he needs to do better. It’s offensive to think that this is the message that someone who oversees our district is sending out there to our students and our staff.'

Despite the backlash from his fellow district employees, Knox came out and defended the posts
Knox came out in defense of himself, telling the outlet that the posts did not reflect his work as a board member.
He said: 'I’m not going to hide from who I am. I’m not going to hide that I can be sarcastic.
'I can have a good sense of humor. I can have a bad sense of humor, but it’s just what it is.'
He added that he would much rather focus on his job with the school district which was more important to him 'than a meme that might offend'.
The district's social media policy prohibits employees from posting 'derogatory statements or sexually suggestive postings'.
In a statement, Queen Creek Unified School District said: 'The statements referenced were made by a Board Member who is not an employee of QCUSD but an official elected by the voters of Queen Creek.
'While QCUSD has provided legal training on social media use and Board norms and protocols—and will continue to do so—we do not condone the messages in these social media posts or any form of political statements or discourse.
'These comments do not represent the District or reflect its core values.'
