A Brazilian influencer was told to go back to her country while she was waiting for the arrival of Blake Lively at the New York premiere of the actor's latest film.

Marcela Montellato filmed herself alongside other fans waiting for the actress near a theater in Manhattan on August 6 for the screening of Hollywood star's new movie, It Ends With Us, when a woman in line in front of her complained that she was being too loud.

In the video, the 23-year-old content creator is talking into the cell phone camera and expressing how she was about to experience the dream of seeing her favorite actress.

The woman suddenly quips that she wanted 'this b***h' to 'stop yelling at my ear.'

Montellato turned the camera towards the woman, seen in the video wearing a pink sweatshirt, who refused to look towards her.

As the influencer tells her followers how excited she was at being at the event, the woman was further angered by Montellato's exuberance.

'Can you stop yelling in our ear,' she snaps. 'You're not acting like a normal person.'

An emotional Montellato subsequently tells her that she was the one who was not behaving, and that she was 'being so rude.'

'Why are you rude? Are you mad?' she asks.

The woman shot back, 'This is how New Yorkers are. Welcome'

Montellato says that she 'feels sorry' and that it 'is so sad,' if New Yorkers are like the woman.

The woman's female companion inserts herself in the argument and tells her, 'You're yelling at her ear.

The woman confronting Montellato was not done and tells her, 'You are being very loud behind us.'

Montellato kept her composure and looks at her camera and in Portuguese says, 'So guys, that's how New Yorkers are, they're very polite, very cute.'

The woman appears to be annoyed that she was speaking in her native language and tells her, 'Alright, go back to your country.'

The influencer lets out a sarcastic laugh and pans the camera to the woman, telling her, 'Say cheese to the camera! … Oh, now you don't want to talk.'

Montellato, who has more than 1.8 million followers on Instagram and more than 6.4 TikTok followers, rose to fame during the COVID-19 while posting videos to lighten the mood of her friends and family members.

Her social followers were lauded keeping her composure why she was attacked by the woman in the video she titled, 'A Karen attacked me in New York.'

'Friend, you were extremely diva and poised!!!!!!!!!!!! proud,' one person wrote.

'I really love you,' another follower said. 'You rocked it, you didn't lie down at any point! As that phrase says "those who are uncomfortable can leave."'

However, one social media user claimed that Montellato was at fault.

'To a Brazilian who might be unaware of cultural differences regarding personal space and noise levels, just a friendly reminder: when you're abroad, it's important to be mindful of cultural differences,' they wrote. 'In some places, people value their personal space and prefer quieter environments. Let's all be respectful and considerate of those around us. Remember this is not your "home" you're a guest! Unfortunately a very loud and obnoxious person.'
