Ringgold Police confirmed that they were investigating the incident, but told us they couldn't share more details until it is complete.
McClure's brother Collin Le said: 'I am beyond lost for words, and the reality of it hasn’t set in yet.'
He posted on Facebook: 'I guess I am writing this to make other people aware, that taking 3 extra minutes to double check, may save someone’s life.'
Her brother said, 'Early this morning, my sister Autumn and her boyfriend were taking my little brother to daycare.
'While driving on the highway, a Brake Caliper/Drum flew out the back of a truck, went through the windshield, and struck her in the chest/neck. She passed before emergency services could arrive.'
According to Collin, McClure's 21st birthday is next month.
'I could go on for days about how sweet and gentle she was. How she didn’t deserve any of this, and how heartbroken I am,' he said.

She had an Associate Degree from Chattanooga State Community College and was currently enrolled there in the Graphic Design Program.
'Autumn loved the beach and animals, especially her pets. She enjoyed going to concerts, paddle boarding, and hiking.'
