Tyreek Hill has taken on Noah Lyles' dare to race him after the Miami Dolphins wide receiver claimed that the US track star faked his illness at the Olympic Games, earlier this summer.

Appearing on Shannon Sharpe's 'Nightcap' podcast on Saturday, Lyles was asked if he would beat 'Cheetah' in a 100-meter sprint after the NFL star suggested that the gold medalist 'pretended like he was sick' following a third-place finish in the 200m in Paris.

'Tyreek is just chasing clout. Anytime somebody fast comes up, he says he wants to race them,' Lyles said at first. 'If he really wanted to race people, he would've shown up like D.K. Metcalf. The man raced in the 60m this year in the Masters division. The man (Lyles) dodges smoke. I don't have time for that.'

Lyles continued: 'If [Tyreek is] truly serious about it - I'm not talking about you just talking on the internet and you ain't actually coming to me and talking to my agent and saying let's do something up - if you're seriously about it, you'll see me on the track.'

Barely 24 hours after Lyles' comments, Hill shared on X: 'Sign the contract and lock in that 50 yard race ....'

Noah Lyles didn't mince his words when talking about the possibility of racing Tyreek Hill, Sat.

Lyles isn't shy to voice his opinions about other sports and its athletes. Last year, he famously said that the NBA Finals champion shouldn't be viewed as 'world champs.'

Regardless of his beef with Hill, Lyles will have to be in peak physical condition to outsprint Hill, as the wideout's personal best in the 100m is 10.19 seconds.

Hill's top time in the 200m is 20.14 seconds.

Had he ended up with both times in Paris, the 2019 Super Bowl champion would have finished last in the final of each Olympic event.

Lyles personal best in the 100m is the 9.79 seconds he ran earlier this summer to win gold.

His top time of 19.31 in the 200m is the current American record.

Over the weekend, Hill's mom made headlines as she was accused of being violent with a friend while behind the wheel in Florida, sparking a furious argument between the pair.
