No longer busy with her father's presidential run, Ivanka Trump and her family checked in on the New York Mets' 2024 campaign at Citi Field on Sunday.

Ivanka, husband Jared Kushner and their soon-to-be 11-year-old son Joseph attended the Mets' 3-2 loss to the visiting Miami Marlins on Sunday.

Most importantly, Joseph got to meet several Mets stars, including shortstop Francisco Lindor and left fielder Brandon Nimmo. The family even got to step into the Mets' dugout at one point.

Ivanka was dressed in a beige vest and shorts, while Kushner had on his Mets hat and a long-sleeved t-shirt. Young Joseph was wearing a Mets t-shirt with No. 24 emblazoned across the front. No. 24 is retired by the Mets for Willie Mays, who passed away earlier this year after finishing his Hall-of-Fame career in Queens back in 1973.

With the loss, the Mets are now 4-6 in their last 10 and are two games behind the Atlanta Braves in the National League wildcard standings.

Ivanka's father Donald is a long-time Yankees fan despite hailing from Queens and attending grade school in nearby Kew Gardens. Donald and late Yankees owner George Steinbrenner were also known to be close friends.

Trump previously boasted about his playing days on X: 'I played football and baseball, sorry, but said to be the best bball player in N.Y. State.'

Slate's Leander Schaerlaeckens subsequently uncovered nine box scores from Trump's high school games, during which he went 4 for 29 at the plate.

Trump said his baseball career was derailed when he attended a tryout with 'another young kid named Willie McCovey.' However, the late Hall of Famer and legendary Giants slugger was born in Alabama in 1938 – eight years before Trump was born in Queens – making the claim unlikely to be true.

The New Jersey-born Kushner is a Mets fan, as he told New York Magazine in 2006 when he bought The New York Observer for $10 million at age 25. (Kushner sold his stake in the paper to his family's trust in 2017 when he went to work for Donald in the White House, and the Observer is now merely a website)

Ivanka and Kushner also took their sons to a Mets game last August.

And as was the case in 2023, Ivanka made sure to post about the trip on social media. This time the pics included shots of Joseph with Lindor as well as a few pics from the dugout.

Kusher, who describes himself as a 'husband, father' and 'Mets fan' in his Instagram bio, has been busy with real estate projects in the Balkans.

In addition to construction in Belgrade, Serbia, Kusher is hoping to turn a stretch of Albania into a luxury resort.
