Jamie-Lynn Sigler's 10-year-old son Beau has finally left the hospital after battling ADEM for over a month.

On Tuesday she shared an emotional video celebrating her boy's departure from the hospital where he spent weeks in the intensive care unit.

The actress' oldest son was seen walking out of the hospital as dozens of family, friends and staff lined a hallway, cheering him and offering high fives.

At one point, the now-healthy elementary schooler skipped and danced along the corridor to demonstrate his physical recovery.

Sigler, 43, explained the victory in a jubilant post on Instagram Friday.

'After 33 days, we are busting out of here!' wrote the actress who battles MS.

'My brave boy, you are a walking miracle. The rest of this story will be Beau's to tell, if he chooses to one day,' the relieved mom said.

'Thank you to the INCREDIBLE staff at Dells Children's Hospital.

'The way you take care of your patients and the way you guide their families through the process, I just don't have enough words,' she wrote with gratitude.

'I'm in awe of your patience, dedication, and expertise…. But, no offense.. I hope we never see you again ✌️

'Thank you all for the love and prayers. They worked.'

In a separate post, the Sopranos actress revealed that Beau, whom she shares with her husband, former Washington Nationals player Cutter Dykstra, 35, had been diagnosed with a rare condition called ADEM, which stands for acute disseminated encephalomyelitis.

According to Boston Children's Hospital, ADEM 'involves a brief but intense attack of inflammation (swelling) in the brain and spinal cord that damages the brain's myelin.'

Myelin, also called white matter, is 'the protective covering of nerve fibers.'

WHAT IS ADEM?

ADEM stands for acute disseminated encephalomyelitis.

Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis involves a brief but intense attack of inflammation (swelling) in the brain and spinal cord that damages the brain's myelin, according to Boston's Children's Hospital.

Myelin is the protective covering of nerve fibers. Myelin is also called white matter due to its color. Because ADEM affects myelin, it is a type of a 'demyelinating' disorder.

ADEM is an 'autoimmune' condition that often occurs after a child has an infection, such as a cold.

The immune system protects the body from invaders, like bacteria and viruses.

Autoimmune diseases confuse the body's immune system. Instead of fighting against bacteria or viruses, it attacks healthy cells and tissues.

Although ADEM can occur at any age, children are more likely than adults to have it. Most children make a complete or nearly complete recovery. The main medication for treating ADEM is a type of steroid. Most children tolerate the medication very well.

In approximately 80 percent of children, ADEM occurs only once. In some patients, it can reoccur. When it does, symptoms can be identical to the child's initial episode, but they can also be different.

It is not known why children develop ADEM with certain infections at certain times. If you notice symptoms during an infection that you think are unusual, such as confusion, changes in vision, weakness, numbness, or imbalance, it is important to notify your child's doctor immediately.

The thumbnail for the video showed Beau, who looked adorable in a blue Philadelphia Phillies jersey with Bryce Harper's number 3 on the back and a pair of navy blue shorts and sneakers, standing with his back to the camera beneath a sign that read 'Heroes this way,' with an arrow pointing toward the exit.

Sigler and Dykstra are also parents to Jack, six, whom she revealed on her MeSsy podcast had become a great caretaker for his big brother.

While Beau has recovered physically, Sigler revealed on her podcast he has more healing to do. That continuing challenge did not prevent her friends and fans from celebrating the milestone.

Actress Marla Sokoloff gushed with glee at the video writing, 'His little dance! Love you guys.'

Baseball star Nick Swisher offered his congratulations. 'Best video ever!!! Hit that Gritty Beau!!! Love you buddy!!!'

'I'm crying' said Jenna Dewan, echoing a comment left by many.  'Yes Beau!! We love you Jamie and are in awe of you!❤️' exclaimed Lea Michele.
