Horrifying video shows mom threatening to 'eliminate' her toddler daughter, 3, while 'repeatedly beating her with a hanger' using torturous method seen in Mommie Dearest

A mom was caught on video 'repeatedly beating' her three-year-old daughter with a clothes hanger while threatening to 'eliminate' her. 

Aaliyah Shantrelle Herring, 25, from Miami Gardens Florida is now facing two child abuse-related charges and was arrested on Monday. 

The alleged incident occurred while Herring was on Facetime to her ex-partner, David Jones, who is the child's father. 

The conversation quickly turned violent prompting Mr Jones to start screen-recording the video call. 

In the horrifying clip, the mom, who appears to be holding a clothes hanger, can be heard saying: 'Since you don't want to handle your own kid. Guess what?

'I'll eliminate her my damn self, how about that?'

She then says at one point: 'Still don't want to shut up? That's fine, y'all going to watch me kill your kid, how about that?'

Miami Gardens police said the clip showed a woman 'repeatedly beating a young child'. 

Herring allegedly used a clothes hanger to whip the toddler - a tortuous method seen in the 1981 movie Mommie Dearest.   

An arrest report shows that Herring said she was 'discipling' the child for throwing TV a remote at her, Local 10 has reported. 

She later claimed that the video was created using artificial intelligence by her ex-partner and that the woman in the video was not her. 

Herring was being held at Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $7,500 bond as of Tuesday afternoon.

Mommie Dearest is a physiological drama that portrays the Academy Award winning actress Joan Crawford as a cruel, unbalanced and alcoholic mother.

It was originally a memoir written by her daughter Christina Crawford but was later turned into the movie of the same name. 

One scene shows the mother removing her daughter's clothes from the closet and beating her with a hanger.
