Travis Kelce's acting career is set for another significant milestone with a cameo appearance in Happy Gilmore 2.
Adam Sandler confirmed the news in an appearance on The Tonight Show, talking to Jimmy Fallon.
'Travis mentioned it so we have a nice something for Travis,' Sandler said. 'He's going to come by.
'He's a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Cool as hell. He's a stud and he's so funny.'
Kelce is a huge fan of the original film and said earlier this year on his New Heights podcast that he would love to appear in the second movie.

'Man, I didn’t even know there was a job opening,' he said to his brother Jason. 'I'll be a f***ing extra, anything to get around Happy Gilmore, an Adam Sandler film or set - count me in.
'I'll do anything in the movie. I’ll be part of it any way I possibly can.'
Kelce was also pictured wearing a Happy Gilmore cap at Coachella this year when he attended the music festival alongside girlfriend Taylor Swift.
An open casting call was put out for the filming in New Jersey this week but it is not yet clear when Kelce will feature.
'We're getting ready to shoot it in New Jersey, we get started in a couple weeks,' Sandler said. 'It's good, we worked hard at the script, we didn't want to let people down.
'So many golfers are going to be a part of it. I have to practice (the Happy Gilmore swing). I tried it out, I fell. But I'll be ready when it is time to shoot.'
Kelce is currently gearing up for the start of the new NFL season, where his Kansas City Chiefs team are lining up an historic shot at a third straight Super Bowl triumph.
The Chiefs play the first game of the season, on September 5 at Arrowhead Stadium against Baltimore Ravens.

Kelce, 34, said earlier this year that he wanted to make a cameo appearance in the film
But for the 34-year-old Kelce, news of the cameo marks another step on the road of his acting career as he continues to prepare for a life away from football.
He is also in talks to star in action comedy film, 'Loose Cannons', according to Hollywood Reporter.
And the three-time Super Bowl winner is also hosting his own gameshow - Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity - which is set to be released on Amazon Prime in October.
Kelce is also going to appear in 'Grotesquerie' - a new drama series written by Ryan Murphy which set to be released on Hulu on September 25.
He lifted the lid on his experience filming the show on New Heights in May, saying: 'I feel like an amateur. And I haven’t gotten fired yet so we’re doing good.
'It has been so much fun. Ryan Murphy is an unbelievable writer, director, producer, all of the above, man. He’s just - there’s nothing he can’t do and everybody’s just been so helpful in making me feel comfortable.'
