A California toddler had to be rushed to hospital after a restaurant mistakenly served her alcohol.
Noemi Valencia had been dining at Fujiyama Japanese Restaurant in Salinas with her young daughter when the child was given cooking wine instead of apple juice.
It wasn't until her daughter started showing signs that she was drunk did she realize the juice cup she had been drinking from was actually filled with booze.
Speaking with KSBW, Valencia said: 'She was swaying, she was falling over, she was leaning on walls, she couldn’t hold her head up, she was slurring her words.'
Due to the incident, Valencia had to rush her daughter to the emergency room where she ended up spending the night.

According to Valencia the wine had been served in a regular child's sipping cup, with a blood test later revealing she had an alcohol level of 0.12 percent in her system.
The parents spent the night at Salinas Valley ER. They said a blood test revealed an alcohol level of 0.12% in their daughter’s system.
KSBW spoke to the manager of the restaurant who said the cooking wine had been mislabeled inside a large container as 'apple juice' causing the mistake.
Salinas police also said that a police report had been filed on August 17 and that they're looking into the matter.
The young girl has since made a full recovery, with Valencia adding: 'Take proper precautions and how you store things or label things properly so that this doesn't happen to anybody else.'
She added: 'Parents: taste what's served to your kids.'
In a statement, the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control said: 'The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control is aware of the reports and is working with local authorities to investigate.'

In March of this year, a 12-year-old in Michigan got drunk after being served a virgin drink at an Outback Steakhouse.
Mekyle Cureton and his grandmother, Yolanda Collins, are regulars at the Outback in Livonia, Michigan, visiting a couple of times a month.
He told Fox 2 that his go-to order is a virgin strawberry daiquiri. But during a recent rip, something was off.
'It didn't taste like how when I had it the other times,' Cureton said. 'It didn't taste normal.'
After taking a few sips of the drink, Cureton said he started to feel unwell.
'My head started hurting when I was leaving and my heart started beating as I was drinking it,' Mekyle added.
The child was taken to the hospital, where doctors helped him eliminate the alcohol in the system. However, it left Mekyle with a nasty hangover, his first, at 12 years old.
