YouTube star Twomad's cause of death has been revealed six months after his passing aged just 23.
The controversial Canadian social media star - real name Muudea Sedik - was found dead at his LA-area home on February 13 2024 after police reported his therapist requested a welfare check on him.
Twomad died from an accidental morphine overdose - with morphine toxicity noted on the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner's report obtained by TMZ.
Mitragynine - another drug commonly used to treat opioid withdrawal - also contributed to his death, per the report.
Law enforcement source previously revealed the death was being looked into as a possible overdose - with drug paraphernalia found at the scene.

Days before he was found dead, Twomad sparked concern when he posted photos with apparent assault rifles.
He had more than 2.2 million subscribers on his Youtube channel Twomad 360 and boasted 395,000 followers on Instagram.
At the time of his death, his YouTube channel had accumulated 156 videos and garnered over 200 million views,
Following his death, fellow YouTuber Jameskii accused Sedik of trying to murder him 'multiple times' and alleging that Sedik 'was a rapist and a pedophile.'
'Over the past few years he tried to murder me multiple times for helping the police & detectives in multiple states to investigate a lot of horrible things he's done,' Jameskii wrote on X.
In 2023, X user @Goldibell accused Sedik of sexually assaulting her, posting a stream of unanswered text messages from him.
'[S]pam from twomad after I blocked him for sa'ing me, he made 6 burner numbers after this to also spam me on as well as instagram accounts and a twitter account. if you want proof i have all of it just ask you can see him send texts actively at the end of this clip,' she wrote.
Sedik denied the allegations, writing that he 'never sexually assaulted nobody in my life but not gonna stop crazy b**** from lying on youtuber guy.'
Goldibell posted a statement in the wake of Sedik's death saying: 'I’m not celebrating, I hope his family is ok, though I’m sure they aren’t. Losing your child is tragic no matter the circumstances.'

Jameskii's roommate at the time quoted the post and confirmed the stories of Sedik's harassment
Jameskii, continued with his allegations, claiming that Sedik 'wanted to take out multiple innocent lives by getting behind a wheel and going head on on freeway while being high on illegal drugs. He didn't succeed once as he overdosed before killing anybody, so he tried it again.'
He added that despite Sedik's alleged attempts to kill him, Jameskii had been 'trying to help law enforcement to make sure he's safe, doesn't get hurt and doesn't harm anybody.'
'Please remember that he's a rapist and a pedophile, he continued to prey on the vulnerable even after the police got involved, including a 13 y/o in mental hospital. The tragedy doesn't excuse any of his actions,' he added.
Jameskii's roommate at the time quoted the post and confirmed the stories of Sedik's harassment.
Sedik began posting videos in 2016, using YouTube as a platform for streaming video games and making comedy sketches.
Despite his massive following, Sedik had not uploaded a new video to YouTube in more than a year, though he would still post on X and stream on Twitch and Discord and at one point, collaborated with an OnlyFans model.
He created the Goodnight Girl meme in 2009 with his videos featuring comedy sketches and gaming content.

He was credited with popularizing 'zoombombing' - randomly entering online meetings and conferences - which he would livestream.
In 2022, he sparked controversy by doing a sexually suggestive Toy Story shoot with Internet personality Belle Delphine.
In 2019 he was accused of racism after portraying BTS member Jimin in a video by wearing whiteface and a blonde wig.
In 2021, Sedik attended a BTS concert wearing an Asian conical hat while holding an edited photograph blending the faces of BTS member V and communist leader Mao Zedong, joking that it depicted his father.
He was also slammed online in 2023 for posting a photo of murdered transgender teenager Brianna Ghey and stating she was his "girlfriend".
