Americans were surprised to learn through the video that Luna, 35, was a former Sports Illustrated model, a few of the many unexpected former jobs held by members of Congress.

If elected, Kamala Harris would break ground on a number of firsts, not the least of which is being the first ex-McDonald's worker to become president.
Harris worked at a McDonald's in California in the summers after her freshman and sophomore years of college at Howard University.
An ad released last week by the Harris campaign touted her past employer:

Crawford, R-Ark., used to ride bulls in the rodeo before a serious injury in 1993 kept him out of the saddle permanently. He then started commentating rodeos on the radio and launched a music career, sometimes featured singing while riding his horse.

Harris isn't the only former McDonald's employee: in 1987, Hern, a Republican from Oklahoma, moved to Arkansas and took a job at McDonald's. A decade later, he bought his first franchise of the fast food chain and at one point owned 18 in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
