Balenciaga is charging £1,150 for a pair of tights full of holes and ladders.

The luxury fashion brand's 'destroyed tights' cost £400 more than their unblemished counterparts, which only set you back £725.

The tights, which are made in Italy, are advertised on the brand's website as 'technical knit' with a 'destroyed effect and contrasted double fabric.

Several holes are cut into the both of the leggings of the tights, which are available in both black and light beige.

Fashionistas can also get their hands on a designer cotton gabardine Paris 'Resto' apron for £475.

Part of a souvenir range for Olympics, they come with the word 'Paris' and etched across the front and decorated with images of the city's famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame de Paris.

But despite bearing the writing 'Made in France' as part of the resto artwork, the aprons are actually made in Italy, according to the website's smallprint.

The Paris 2024 range also includes 'I love Paris' hoodies at £850, Champ Elysees tote bags for £175 each, baseball caps which set you back several hundred pounds.

Founded in 1919 by Cristobal Balenciaga in Spanish city of San Sebastian, the label is now headquartered in the French capital.

Its parent company, Kering, also owns high-end brands Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Yves Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen.
