A Texas megachurch has been rocked by yet another major resignation, as a fourth pastor steps down over a mystery 'moral issue.'

Gateway Church in North Texas announced on Wednesday that Executive Pastor Kemtal Glasgow is 'no longer employed' for unexplained reasons which were deemed incompatible with his role.

Church elder Tra Willbanks said in a YouTube video: 'As of Monday this week Kemtal Glasgow is no longer employed at Gateway.'

'We were informed last week of a moral issue which we believe as Elders disqualifies him from serving in the role that he had at Gateway,' Willbanks continued.

The announcement comes amid ongoing scandals which culminated in a leadership exodus from the church. It was first triggered by founder Robert Morris when he confessed in June to sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl in the 1980s.

The announcement comes amid ongoing scandals leading to a leadership exodus triggered by the shocking resignation of church founder Robert Morris in June - when it was revealed that he was involved with years of sexual abuse against a 12-year-old girl

Morris' son James and wife Bridgette resigned soon after, in July.

Despite the timing, the church insists Glasgow's departure is unrelated to the Morris scandal, according to NBCDFW

The church expressed sympathy for Glasgow's family, with Willbanks stating, 'We love his family - we love his wife and his kids and we want to come alongside them during this difficult time and help them find restoration and healing that they need as a family.'

He also urged the congregation to pray for the Glasgow family during this difficult time.

'And we would ask that you as a church would pray for them as well.'

Glasgow's profile has already been removed from the church's website.

In the wake of his departure, the church has announced plans to restructure its leadership.

Adena Wilson has been promoted to oversee the campus pastors, stepping into her new role effective immediately.

'What this does do is it makes a way for us now to promote Adena Wilson into overseeing the campus pastors so Adena effective yesterday stepped into that role,' he said.

Willbanks expressed enthusiasm for Wilson's promotion.

'We're excited for Dana Adena is going to be a perfect person to take on this responsibility and she's going to do terrific.'

The megachurch was in turmoil ever since Morris admitted to historic 'inappropriate sexual behavior' with a minor.

The victim, now 54-year-old Cindy Clemishire, alleged that Morris initiated sexual contact with her on Christmas night 1982 when she was just 12.

Morris, former spiritual advisor to Donald Trump, was reportedly 21 and married at the time.

The abuse reportedly continued until 1987.

Clemishire described a scene in which Morris asked her to come to his room and speak with him, asking her to lay on his bed.

Morris began to touch her inappropriately, with Clemishire alleging he touched her stomach, then her breast and then under her pants.

She added that after the alleged abuse occurred, Morris 'told me I could never tell anyone, because it would ruin everything,' and that he would continue to isolate her and abuse her for the next four-and-a- half years before she finally spoke out.

Initially, church elders vaguely cited an 'inappropriate relationship' before later apologizing for not having 'all the facts'.

In the wake of the scandal, three church elders took voluntary leave and an independent inquiry was launched.

Morris' son James and wife Bridgette have also resigned their positions at the church.

The Haynes and Boone law firm at the time began an 'independent and comprehensive inquiry' into the abuse allegations by Clemishire.

'Even though it occurred many years before Gateway was established, as leaders of the church, we regret that we did not have the information that we now have,' they said in a statement. 'We know many have been affected by this, we understand that you are hurting, and we are very sorry.'

Clemishire went public with her allegations in a June blog post on The Wartburg Watch, a website dedicated to exposing abuse in churches.

Emails shared with NBC News purportedly reveal the shocking interactions between the disgraced pastor and Clemishire in 2005.

'Twenty-three years after you began destroying my life, I am still dealing with the pain and damage you caused,' Clemishire, then 35, reportedly wrote to Morris. 'I want some type of restitution. Pray about it and call me.'
