Melania Trump described writing her memoir as a journey of 'highs and lows' as the book has moved to the top of the charts on several Amazon best-seller lists.

'Writing my memoir has been an amazing journey filled with emotional highs and lows,' the former first lady told Fox News Digital. 'Each story shaped me into who I am today.'

She described the process as 'daunting at times' but noted it 'has been incredibly rewarding, reminding me of my strength, and the beauty of sharing my truth.'

Her memoir, titled 'Melania', is not out until October 1st but it is available for pre-order on Amazon for $30.

The book is currently number one in Amazon's 'US Presidents' category, as well as its 'Political Leader Biographies' category.

It is number two in the overall new releases category and in the 'memoir' category.

The former first lady has been blasting the purchase link on her social media and to her email lists.

Donald Trump is also being a supportive husband by promoting the book.

He posted a link to it on his Truth Social account and wrote: 'If you love our former First Lady as much as me, and are ready for the Truth, buy her new book now!'

'MELANIA provides an insightful perspective of her tenure as First Lady of the United States, highlighting our shared experiences, her entrepreneurial achievements, plus the challenges and triumphs she experienced since her childhood in Europe.'

Melania Trump announced in July she was releasing a memoir, a stunning announcement from the normally private first lady.

In the book she 'reflects on her Slovenian childhood, the pivotal moments that led her to the world of high fashion in Europe and New York, and the serendipitous meeting with Donald Trump, a chance encounter that forever changed the course of her life,' according to its summary.

'Melania opens up about their courtship, life in the spotlight, and experiencing the joy of motherhood. She shares behind-the-scenes stories from her time in the White House, shedding light on her advocacy work and the causes close to her heart.'

She is selling two editions: a $150 collector's edition featuring 256 pages in full color throughout, with each copy signed by the author. The memoir edition will be 304 pages and available for $40 with signed copies available for $75.

'Melania' will be released by Skyhorse Publishing, which has published such  Trump supporters as former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and attorney Alan Dershowitz

The former first lady has been the subject of many biographies and books but this is the first time she is telling her story.

It is unclear if she worked with a co-author and if she will go on a book tour.

Melania Trump, 54, has been something of an enigma in public life.

The third wife of Donald Trump is intensely private and spent much of her White House years focused on raising her son Barron, who was a teenage at the time.

After the Trumps left the White House she maintained her low profile.

She has not been heavily involved in her husband's 2024 campaign for the White House.

She appeared at his campaign announcement and at the Republican National Convention, where, unlike other spouses of candidates, she opted not to address the delegates.

She has yet to appear at a campaign rally.

She also didn't attend the first presidential debate and has been careful to distance herself from her husband's legal troubles.

She did host two fundraisers for Log Cabin Republicans, a conservative LGBTQ group.

And she's worked on some foster care issues in her post-White House life.

Financial disclosure reports showed the former first lady earns a substantial income from speaking fees, properties in New York and Slovenia that she rents and her non-fungible token (NFT) licensing agreement.
