Kelly Stafford revealed the one piece of advice she wishes she had received when she entered the NFL world as LA Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford's significant other.
In an interview with E! News, the 'Morning After' host recalled losing herself in a flood of opinions as Matthew's stardom in the big leagues blossomed.
'Something that I wish someone would have told me coming into this is: 'Don't lose yourself,'' she shared.
'I would say, 'Don't try to become the person that everybody else wants you to become.' 'Because that's what I did and I lost who I was. And that goes with personality, looks, all of it.
'You're going to have everyone telling you what you should look like, what you should say and not say, all of these things. And if you start listening, you lose the values and everything you have that makes you who you are, and makes you the person your husband fell in love with.'

The pair began dating in college, got married in 2015, and share four daughters
'You can't cancel out all the noise, but try to listen to yourself before you listen to anybody else,' Kelly continued.
The former Georgia cheerleader noted that she is in no position to advise Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes - as she's 'messed up so many times.'
Kelly memorably made unpleasant headlines in June when she revealed dating Matthew's backup quarterback in college to make him jealous.
Before that, she was slammed for saying the Super Bowl-winning quarterback struggled to connect with his younger teammates in August 2023.
Kelly and Matthew tied the knot in 2015 and share four daughters: twins Sawyer and Chandler, 7, six-year-old Hunter, and four-year-old Tyler.
She is taking her podcast on tour this fall, beginning in Detroit on September 7. Kelly previously used her podcast to talk about the struggles of living in Matthew's shadow.
