An Amazon delivery driver was allegedly caught on camera slamming into a mother walking with her four-month-old and dog - before fleeing the scene.
Disturbing footage obtained by WPLG shows the unidentified 30-year-old mother pushing her son in a stroller and walking her dog on the crosswalk at Northeast 7th Avenue and Northeast 191st Street in Miami shortly after 8.30am on August 22.
As the woman is about halfway through the intersection, a gray SUV could be seen barreling toward her and dragging the screaming mother.
The impact of the crash also knocked the stroller - with the infant still inside - onto the ground, Miami police report.
The suspect, who police have identified as 45-year-old Sarah Naybeth Parra Ovalles, was later seen walking over to the toppled stroller, picking it up so that it was upright in the intersection, and leaving.
Sarah Naybeth Parra Ovalles, 45, has been arrested for allegedly slamming into a 30-year-old mother and her four-month-old son before fleeing the scene
Ovalles was seen crying in court as she faced criminal charges for the hit-and-run
Police now say Ovalles arrived at the Isles Estate neighborhood and identified herself as an Amazon driver at the gate.
A security guard then took photos of her license and her license plates before letting her into the gated community, CBS News reports.
Ovalles then made several deliveries before allegedly swerving into the wrong lane and striking the mother and her child.
'She hit the lady. She dragged the lady for about 10 seconds,' one neighbor told WSVN.
Cassie Kress, another neighbor, recounted how she heard the infant 'screaming.'
'It was very intense. Then we heard a horn,' she said.
Kress - a nurse - said she ran over to help the mother and child before Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials arrived on the scene and transported them to a local hospital.
The mother was treated for a skull fracture, bruising and a brain bleed, while her son suffered a cut to his forehead, NBC Miami reports.

The mother was crossing the intersection of Northeast 7th Avenue and Northeast 191st Street in Miami shortly after 8.30am on August 22
Police said they were ultimately able to identify Ovalles as the perpetrator after they interviewed the gate guard and a witness, who said she was inside her ome when she heard the child crying and a vehicle's horn.
The witness said she then looked out her window and saw a woman wearing an Amazon Prime vest standing next to a gray SUV and looking around.
Just a few seconds later, the witness said she saw the woman get back into the SUV and drive away.
The next day, Miami-Dade police asked Ovalles to come into the station for an interview, during which time she admitted she making deliveries in the neighborhood and saw the victims.
But, she claimed, she was just driving next to them and saw that the mother seemed 'out of it' and 'placed her hands on her hood.'
Ovalles said she asked the woman if she was OK, the mother nodded and she drove away.
Then when police showed her the video of the crash, Ovalles denied being the driver and invoked her right to an attorney.
The suspect was later seen returning to set the stroller upright before fleeing the scene
Ovalles is now facing two counts of leaving the scene of a crash, one causing serious bodily injury.
She was seen in court crying as she faced the charges, but she has since been released after posting bond, WSVN reports.
'This is a terrible incident and our thoughts are with this family,' a spokesperson for Amazon said in the aftermath, noting Ovalles 'is no longer delivering on behalf of Amazon.'
Meanwhile, the infant is back home - but his mother remains in the hospital, with neighbors saying she is in a lot of pain.
