CCTV footage captured the hilarious moment a man fumbled his wheelbarrow, tipping it backwards and sending mud all over himself.

John Durka, 38, hired a skip for a 'big sort out' of the loft space in his London home on March 31 this year.

The father-of-two thought it would be a 'great idea' to position a scaffold board on the skip to act as a ramp.

Mr Durka said: 'I had a great idea - to use a scaffold board from the garden as a ramp, thinking I could run the wheel barrow up into the skip to empty it.

'However it was covered in moss. I didn't realise how slippery it was until the time was too late!'

When he pushed the wheelbarrow up the slippery ramp, it flipped up and covered him in waste.

Mr Durka was wearing a grey shirt and trousers with hardy black gloves when the wheelbarrow flipped onto him.

He is then captured on camera brushing off the mud after his fall - it seems his ego was more bruised than his body.

Mr Durka who works as an electrician, said his partner was worried about him after the fall.

In the CCTV footage recorded on the home security cameras, she can be heard asking monotonously: 'Oh no. You alright?'

Mr Durka added: 'A lot of my friends said they would have p***** themselves and asked how was she not laughing!'

Paul Francis experienced a similar wheelbarrow mishap in April of this year.

He was walking up a ramp to unload his wheelbarrow into a skip after doing some work in the garden - when he lost his footing and fell forward.

His wife Nelsi Villalon Aguilera, 44, who was in the kitchen at the time of the incident, checked the Ring doorbell footage to see what happened.

The customer care coordinator from Bristol said: 'I wanted to see how he fell.

'I am Venezuelan, we have been married for 13 years and he doesn't speak it [Spanish].

'When he fell he used a Venezuelan expression [swear word] instead of saying 's*** - I found it very funny.'

Paul was not seriously injured and was given first aid by Nelsi at home.
