The drama at the US Open does not only happen on the court but also in the stands.
On Wednesday, the US Open X (Twitter) account posted a clip of an awkward interaction between a presumed couple catching the tournament in Flushing, Queens.
In the video, a man wearing a light blue polo found his seat next to a woman, presumably his partner, with two drinks in hand. However, the situation took a turn as he was about to hand the woman her cocktail.
Another man in the row behind them, dawning a dark blue button-down, edges him - handing the same beverage to the woman, who smiled as she reached out to accept it.
The woman was also stroking her hair and smiling with her head down as both drink-bearers approached her seat with their gifts.
A viral moment took place in the stands of the US Open in Flushing, Queens on Monday
Puzzled, the presumed husband froze on his seat with question marks all over his face, holding both beverages up.
'This is cinema,' the US Open captioned the six-second clip.
The relationship between the spectators involved remains unconfirmed. However, it did not stop users from taking to the comment section with humorous responses.
'To whoever's running this account: you deserve a raise and a bonus,' one user wrote.
'Gym membership loading,' another quipped, while a fourth wrote, 'See you at the gym brother.'
