Thirty nine days after President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, Kamala Harris is finally sitting down for her first interview.

The vice president will be alongside her running mate Gov. Tim Walz when she faces questions from CNN chief political correspondent Dana Bash.

Harris' historic first interview in her bid to be the first female President of the United States will be pre-recorded, and air in primetime at 9pm on Tuesday night.

She has been criticized for waiting five-and-half weeks for her first major appearance on network news, and has sparked mockery for opting to have VP pick Walz by her side.

There will be unprecedented attention from voters who have wanted to ask an array of questions about Harris' political beliefs since she became the Democratic candidate.

Harris, who endorsed many radical left proposals during her first presidential campaign, faces questions about her record of flip-flopping on critical issues now facing the country.

Just this week she has been accused of changing her views on a border wall and electric vehicle mandates so they more closely align with with voters.

Many others will want to get to know her, will be waiting to see if she distances herself from Biden, or will may want to tune in to catch one of her trademark word salads.

In their last interview, Harris told Bash that she was the 'last person in the room' when decisions were made on the calamitous Afghanistan withdrawal.

It will be soundbites like that - which has been played during the third anniversary of the Kabul evacuation - that she will want to avoid.

DailyMail.com has prepared a list of 25 questions that CNN should ask the vice president:
