A touching moment before the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Baltimore Orioles saw Shohei Ohtani's dog Decoy involved in the pregame festivities.
On 'Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead Night', hundreds of fans were seen lining up to get their hands on the collectibles.
The Dodgers had 40,000 of the figurines to giveaway to fans after selling 53,527 tickets to the game.
Video showed the long lines around Dodger Stadium in the Chavez Ravine area of Los Angeles.
Those lines began forming hours before the nighttime contest even began between the two ballclubs.
Shohei Ohtani's dog, Decoy, brought out the first pitch on 'Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead Night'
Ohtani added to the festivities with a home run in his first at bat of the evening
But once they got inside, they were treated to a delight when Ohtani brought his dog out to 'throw out' the first pitch.
Ohtani brought Decoy out to the mound - where a ball was waiting for the pooch to retreive.
Then, on Ohtani's command, the dog picked up the ball and ran it over to the Japanese star - who was waiting behind home plate.
On the night he was being honored, Ohtani made sure that those in attendance were able to watch some fireworks as he cranked a home run to right center field on the fifth pitch of the night that the Dodgers faced.
The Dodgers won the game 6-4 over Baltimore - with Ohtani going 2-4 from the plate with three runs scored
