GAP, one of the largest casual apparel companies in the country, has made a huge comeback after its fiscal second quarter results showed their profits had more than doubled from last year.
Earlier today, the company accidently posted its quarterly earnings and profits on its website well before the stock market closed but quickly rescinded it.
The official report was released after market trading ended for the day.

The error was confirmed by a spokesperson who revealed that the accident was due to an 'administrative error' and said: 'As soon as the error was caught, we notified the NYSE and trading of our stock was halted temporarily.'
According to the Wall Street Journal, the retailer posted a profit of $206 million for this quarter - as compared to the $117 million back in August 2023.
Sales also rose to $3.72 billion, which is a little higher than last year's $3.55 billion.
Earnings were also recorded at a high 54 cents a share while last year, they were set at 32 cents per share.
