Pennsylvania shooting: One person killed and multiple injured in Clairton after police break up massive street brawl

A suspect is in custody after an early morning shooting in Pennsylvania left one person dead and two others injured, police say.

Around 4 a.m. on Sunday shots were fired in the 400 block of State Street in Clairton, Allegheny County Police told KDKA.

Police arrived to a chaotic scene with multiple people fighting in the street.

One man was shot but was able to flee the area. While leaving the scene, he crashed his car, flipping the vehicle and hitting a utility pole across from a Speedway gas station, according to WPXI.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene and two other victims were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds

Allegheny County Police took one person into custody and are continuing to investigate.

Clairton is a small city located nearly 15 miles outside of Pittsburgh with a population of approximately 6,000.
