Princess Martha Louise of Norway was spotted today as she bid her wedding guests farewell following her controversial marriage to an American shaman.
The 52-year-old, who is fourth in line to the Norwegian crown, was dressed in a pink trouser suit as she stepped out of the Hotel Union, in the picturesque fjord-side village of Geirganger, where she had tied the knot yesterday.
Earlier, her new husband, Californian-born spiritual guru Durek Verrett, revealed how his princess wife had partied until 4am and insisted that he was not a ‘crazy quack’.
Dressed in a black blazer and open-neck pink shirt, Verrett, 49, joked: ‘The party went on until about 4 in the morning, 3.30 or something like that.
‘And I passed out and you know Martha likes to continue going and that’s a very Norwegian thing, and so all the Norwegians are still going and all the Americans are sleeping.’

Verrett told how his lasting memories of the wedding ceremony were ‘crying in the arms of his groomsmen’ and ‘watching [Princess] Martha [Louise] walk’ up the aisle.
The shaman said: ‘[What I remember most] is spending time with my groomsmen, crying in their arms. [And] watching [Princess] Martha [Louise] walk into the room and seeing how gorgeous she looked, how radiant she looked.’
Verrett revealed how Queen Sonja – who he referred to as ‘mom’ had made a ‘life-changing speech’ but refused to divulge what the queen actually said.
The shaman, who claims to be from a long line of spiritual gurus and to speak to angels and spirits, announced that he would now move permanently to Norway following his marriage.
Verrett said: ‘I’ve already been living in Norway and I’m making plans to stay.’
He added that he had been unfairly treated by the media, particularly the Norwegian press, and that he was not a ‘crazy quack’.
The shaman said: ‘I do understand why the press want to follow us and cover us and follow us around. [But] the press has to have both sides. It can’t just be all bad.
‘I’m not a bad person. Nor am I evil, or any of these things that people try to make me to be. I’m not some crazy quack.’

Märtha, who describes herself as 'spiritual' and claims to be a clairvoyant, got into a relationship with Durek after overcoming the loss of her first husband, Ari Behn, who died by suicide in 2019.
But things have not been easy for Märtha, as she was forced to leave her role as a working member of the royal family because of her fiancé's controversial views.
Durek stated that he believed that childhood cancer is caused by unhappiness in a book he wrote.
He published 'Spirit Hacking' in 2019 in the US, but publishers banned it in Norway over the unsubstantial claims.
After reading a translation of the book from its original English, the publishing house said at the time they were shocked by a number of unproven statements made by Durek in the book.
Following their nuptials, senior members of Norway’s royal family partied into the early hours of this morning as they celebrated Princess Martha Louise's controversial marriage to Durek.
King Harald, who is 87 years old and in frail health, did not return to his royal yacht, which was anchored by the shoreline of the Geirangerfjord until after 1am.

Queen Sonja and Crown Prince Haakon both gave speeches during the wedding breakfast. But not King Harald, who had given the wedding address at his daughter’s first marriage to author Ari Behn in 2002.
The four-day marriage celebrations concluded today with a lavish brunch until 1pm. Guests were then transported by bus and ferry to Ålesund airport, some two and a half hours away.
The newly married couple delighted crowds lining the streets outside the wedding venue last night by sharing a kiss ahead of the gala dinner.
Social media influencers, reality stars and TV personalities were among the guests as the Norwegian king's eldest child married the American self-professed shaman.
Martha Louise and Durek, who claims to be a sixth-generation shaman from California, tied the knot in the picturesque small town of Geiranger, one of Norway's major tourist attractions located on a fjord with stunning views.
The newly-weds had made an impromptu walk-about to say thanks to the few dozen well-wishers who had come to the tiny fjord-side village to lay their respects.

The couple stepped out of the Union Hotel in Geiranger shortly after 6.30pm local time to a rousing applause from the crowd.
Families with young children, elderly residents and young couples had waited for hours for a glimpse of the princess and her new husband.
The newlyweds beamed with pride as they waved to the crowd, before going back into the hotel for the wedding breakfast - and for the party that lasted into the early hours of this morning.
The marriage festivities started on Thursday, but the actual wedding ceremony took place yesterday afternoon in a large white tent set up in a farm meadow overlooking a spectacular fjord.
Guests told media outlets that Norwegian and U.S. artists performed at the event along with a gospel choir and a singer representing Norway's indigenous Sami people.
Norwegian TV personality Harald Ronneberg told public broadcaster NRK: 'It was fantastic! It was Hollywood meets Geiranger. It was gospel and love. We laughed, we clapped, and we were touched. It was absolutely beautiful.'
The couple sold the wedding photo rights to British celebrity magazine Hello! and the film rights to Netflix.
The deals have prompted protests from Norwegian media, which say the arrangement goes against local practices.
The couple have often lashed out against the press while promoting themselves on social media.
