The distraught relatives of a slain cop have watched the moment he was shot to death on harrowing bodycam footage in court.
Melvindale police corporal Mohamed Said was shown pleading for his life in the video shown at a hearing for the suspected killer Michael Lopez, 44.
'Stop running, stop, help help, I'll leave it,' Said can be heard saying in the footage from July. The media was asked only to use audio from the bodycam recording.
'He was telling him to not shoot him, 'I'll let you go, I'll let you go, don't shoot,'' the victim's brother, Ahmed Said, told Fox News after the trial.
Ahmed broke down in court while watching the upsetting footage, clearly in distress with his head in his hands as the sound of the gunshot reverberated in court.

Said had been responding to a suspicious person's call when he was confronted by Lopez, who is now facing murder, weapons and drugs charges.
Ahmed is calling for the harshest possible punishment for his brother's alleged killer.
Describing Lopez's demeanor in court, Ahmed told Fox News: 'It's like he was chill.
'He was laughing with a guy who was next to him. It's like he never did anything. He deserves the death penalty - so he feels the same pain.'
Michigan State Police Det. Sgt. Brittany Ellsworth, said Lopez admitted the slaying.
'He admitted, later on, that he had that he had fled from him,' Ellsworth said.
'The officer tazed him he shot him, he intentionally meant to shoot him, because he did not want to go back to jail. Then he fled from the scene.'

Ahmed is calling for harsher penalties for criminals who murder cops.
'Like okay, if I kill an officer, I'm just going to go to jail (with) free rent, free food,' he told Fox News.
'People are used to jail, but (if) you do the death penalty, then everybody's going to be scared.'
Ahmed said each night before bed he listens to his brother's last words from the radio calls.
'My brother was the heart of the family,' he told Fox News. 'He got killed and we lost the heart. Right now we're living without a heart.'
Mohamed Said was one of three officers murdered over just one month this summer.
Hillsdale County Sheriff's Deputy William Butler was killed on June 27 and Oakland County Sheriff's Deputy Bradley Reckling died on June 22.
