A new report reveals a wide majority of officials in the Biden-Harris administration have scarcely any business experience including vice president Kamala Harris, who is now the Democratic nominee for president.
The report, conducted by economists Stephen Moore and Jon Decker for the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, analyzed the résumés 66 top officials in the administration who deal with economic policy, regulation, commerce, energy and finance.
Fifty-eight percent have ‘virtually’ no business experience, the report notes, while only 12 percent of officials have ‘extensive’ business experience and 30 percent have ‘some’ business experience.
The report, subtitled ‘Amateur Hour,’ unveils a critical weakness on the Biden-Harris team, as it argues there is a co-relation between the lack of business experience I the administration to the four years of bad economic news for Americans.

The report also flags Harris’ advisors as also lacking business credentials, which they argue is part of the reason her policy agenda is so radical.
‘Her calls for price controls, more stringent regulations, and higher business tax rates only reinforces our worries about her team’s knowledge of how the economy works,’ the report concludes.
Harris and her running mate Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota have virtually zero business experience.
The report singles out Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for only having the experience as serving as the mayor of South Bend before putting in charge of a $1 trillion industry and significant funding from the Biden administration to fund infrastructure.

Other top officials singled out for lacking business experience include Secretary o Agriculture Tom Vilsack, Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
The rare exceptions to the team include President Biden’s new chief of staff Jeff Zients, who has experience in venture capital, tech and health care.
But the institution is gravely concerned about the future of an administration under the leadership of Harris, warning that it would likely continue bad economic policies from inexperienced government officials.
‘When it comes to the government: Ignorance is not bliss,’ the study concludes. 'These skills are solely lacking in the Biden-Harris administration. The cascade of policy and management mistakes that are piling up in the Biden-Harris government are at least in part a consequence of this lack of basic skills and competency.'
