Camille became a reality television villain while on the Bravo television series during seasons one, two and three.
She went on to return as a recurring guest from seasons five to seven.
Meyer was villainized for being flirtatious with the men she came across and for having the most famous spouse. The demise of her marriage was captured throughout the first season.
She later lamented to OK magazine, per Reality Tea, 'I’m very disappointed in my character. They’ve turned me into a villain and I’m not like that. It’s not me. I can’t even watch myself. I don’t know why they [the producers] are doing that. I guess they needed that character.'
After departing the show, she insisted she was not fired, but rather she chose to leave on her own.
'I was not fired,' Grammer said to E! News in 2012.
She explained about her exit, 'I didn’t want to expose my personal life so much anymore. I had done that and was over that. I care very much for my family and children and that show tends to take me away from them. I really want to focus on them right now.'

In 2018, Meyer reminisced on her MTV dancing days while chatting with The Daily Dish.
'Some of the best times of my life [were] when I danced on Club MTV. Spring Break was amazing,' she said.
The mother-of-two added, 'I mean, being 18, 19, 20-years-old and traveling around with rock stars — it was so much fun and dancing and meeting all these different performers and just the camaraderie between the dancers. Back then, MTV was so cool.'
Looking back on the series, which aired from 1987-1992, she added, 'I was there and I was lucky to be there during the heyday of MTV.'
