It's going to be a full sprint to the finish line for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris as the presidential nominees face just two months to Election Day.

With just 63 days left of the 2024 election season, the vice president is seeing a growing advantage when it comes to one group of voters.

Harris now leads Trump by thirteen points among women, according to the latest polling by ABC/Ipsos. It found Harris at 54 percent while Trump was at 41 percent.

While neither candidate saw a real bounce coming out of their nominating conventions this summer, the gender bump is helping Harris in the tough race.

It also comes as the issue of reproductive rights has been front and center on the campaign trail.

Overall, the polling found Harris leading Trump 50 percent to 46 percent among Americans and 52 percent to 46 percent among likely voters.

When it comes to the gender gap, Harris has the thirteen point lead among women, but Trump only has a five point lead among men, which is not statistically significant.

The shift according to the polling came largely after the convention. Prior to accepting the nomination in Chicago, Harris had a six point lead among women. The shift puts her more in line with past gender alignments.

Much of the post-convention gender realignment has occurred among white people.

Trump went from holding a thirteen point lead among white women to just a two point lead, a statistically tied race with Harris. At the same time, the gap among white men for Trump went from thirteen points to 21 points.

When it comes to the issues, Americans trust Harris to do a better job overall.

However, Trump leads overall on the economy, inflation, immigration and the war in Gaza. The candidates are tied on crime.

Where Harris has a wide advantage is when it comes to trust with handing abortion where she has a sixteen point advantage 47 percent to 31 percent.

She also has a lead when Americans were asked about who they trust more with handling Supreme Court appointments.

The issue of abortion and reproductive rights has been front and center on the campaign trail since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade in June 2022.

It was one of the driving issues that helped Democrats hold the Senate in the midterms and prevent greater losses in the House.

Harris has made the issue one of her top priorities throughout the 2024 campaign season while Trump has waffled with how to address it and the fallout over the end of Roe.

Trump has touted nominating the Supreme Court justices that helped overturn Roe. But he struggled to articulate a clear position on whether he would support a federal abortion ban for months.

Earlier this year, the ex-president declared abortion access should be left to states after previously signaling he was open to federal limits.

Last week, the ex-president sparked confusion over whether he would vote of a ballot measure in Florida which would overturn the state's six week abortion ban before clarifying he would vote against it in his home state.

But in a separate apparent appeal to women voters last week, Trump also announced a policy that his administration would ensure the the full cost of IVF would be covered either by the government or insurance if he is elected for a second term, but he did not go into any detail on how it would be enforced or paid for.

IVF and access to fertility treatment has been another key issue since the Alabama Supreme Court earlier this year ruled frozen embryos were children. It sparked chaos and questions over access to IVF in the state before the state legislature took action to protect it.

Meanwhile, the Harris campaign on Tuesday launched a reproductive freedom bus tour starting just down the street from where Trump lives in Palm Beach, Florida. It plans to make more than fifty stops as Democrats campaign heavily on access to reproductive care.

Other issues Harris lead overall on handling included health care, protecting Democracy, gun violence and race relations.
