A woman whose husband died just weeks after she gave birth to their premature baby has revealed how she then discovered he had been unfaithful throughout their marriage.
Marianne Fraser, 32, from Spean Bridge, Scotland, and her late husband Liam, 25, welcomed their son Soren in December 2022.
After spending days in hospital with their premature baby, Marianne and Liam returned home - where the new father would take his own life on New Year's Eve.
It was only when police returned Liam's phone that Marianne found out he had been living a secret double life - and even called an unknown number during her labour.
The mother-of-one - who is a primary school teacher and musician - recalled how she was holding Soren in her arms when she found Liam almost two years ago.

She said: 'It feels like it has all been obliterated. I was in utter shock.
'It's bizarre to be angry with someone who is no longer alive. I still have blanks in my memory from it.'
Following Liam's shock death, Marianne was readmitted to hospital as she was too grief-stricken to eat.
The couple, who were both musicians, had been introduced through mutual friends and were married for four years.
Looking back on her pregnancy, Marianne said: 'It was a lovely time telling our families. It was so exciting.
'Everyone was surprised but delighted.'
Soren was 6lbs when he was born five weeks early and was finally able to return home with his parents on Christmas Day.
The mother continued: 'It was a blur with everyone being there. Everyone was in love with the new addition.'

However, Marianne and Soren's life changed forever just one week later - when Liam tragically took his own life at the family home.
A few days later, police returned Liam's clothes and phone, which is how she found evidence of his infidelity.
She continued: 'I found phone calls to a person while I was in labour.
'It was just blow after blow. It feels like it's all very tainted.'
Although Liam's infidelity came as a shock, Marianne says the truth has given her some 'closure'.
She added: 'I would rather have known.'
The single mother is now focusing on raising Soren and has even booked to take her 19-month-old on a trip to South East Asia.
In January, Marianne (pictured) went to her first festival since Liam's death - and said it inspired her to start writing music again

The mother explained: 'I wanted to give Soren this incredible life. I'm raising Soren on my own.
'What is the difference in doing it somewhere else? He's happy, healthy and thriving. I'm lucky to have him.'

The mother said: 'It was the first time I felt this sense of calm.
'It was in that moment I knew I had to go back to music and use it as my therapy.'
Marianne's new single 'Yes, let's talk' is out now and her album Open Hearts and Magic is out in Autumn.
