Controversy surrounding the upcoming new season of Selling Sunset is reaching a fever pitch, with a viral TikTok video appearing to show racist tweets from new cast member Amanda Lynn providing the latest blow to the Netflix show.

With days to go until the new episodes land, a clip has started circulating on social media which appears to expose the real estate agent's alleged old posts, in which she re-tweeted comments featuring the n-word.

The video, posted by the TikTok user stephwithdadeets, displays a screenshot of tweets which were seemingly published by Amanda in 2012 and 2013.

Two of the tweets feature a quote from another user who had used the n-word, while a third was a racist quote. Her profile is now private.

Explaining her findings, the TikTok user said in the video: 'The newbie is Amanda Lynn. She's also a real estate agent and she also has a racist past.

'From the season eight trailer, it looks like Amanda Lynn is the one who goes to Bre [Tiesi] with the tea about Chelsea's [Lazkani] husband.

'Someone sent me these old tweets that are from Amanda Lynn. And Amanda Lynn has used the n-word multiple times.'

The TikTok video has garnered lots of attention online and has even been reposted by Selling Sunset's Chelsea, 31, who shared it on her profile without comment.

She then posted: 'I'll tell you all the truth about the cast this season so you can make a decision on who to support.

'Most of you have been blind for so long and I'm sorry I didn't before. I wanted to keep the peace to avoid being bashed or seen as jealous.'

She continued: 'But really and truly WHY would I need to be jealous of anyone let alone women [sic] who do not look like me.

'I am my own mirror in the office and I've held my own since DAY 1. I fear no b*tch.'

The post was also shared far and wide on Reddit and X where users accused Netflix of not carrying out thorough background checks on the cast.

Commenting on the TikTok video on X, one user said: 'New selling sunset cast member Amanda Lynn with racist tweets.

'When we asked for drama we didn't ask for bigotry. Jesus does production vets these new women.'

On Reddit, another posted: 'I genuinely don't understand why they keep making Selling Sunset such a horrible show cast wise.

'Do they not see how much people dislike Selling The OC?! We don't need a repeat.'

A third commented: 'Genuine question - who in 2012 thought it was in any way acceptable to use the n-word? I sure as hell didn't and NEVER have. People are absolute trash.'

DailyMail.com has contacted Amanda and Netflix for comment.

Amanda, who describes herself as an international real estate agent, is one of the newcomers set to make her debut in season eight.

Her explosive arrival was teased in the show's trailer, in which she was seen telling friend Bre that she had 'heard something' about Chelsea's husband – ahead of their divorce news being announced.

This latest controversy comes amid a huge cast fallout after early screenings showed Nicole Young had secretly spread a rumor that Emma Hernan had an affair with a married man in the upcoming season – prompting Chrishell Stause, 43, and Chelsea to speak out.

They claimed their friend, 33, was 'blindsided' by Nicole's 'disgusting' and 'categorically false' lie and accused Done and Done Productions, the company behind Selling Sunset, of 'spreading lies for views.'

In a string of explosive social media posts, Chrishell threatened to quit the hit show, vowing to never work with Nicole again, while also slamming the production company for allegedly not giving Emma an opportunity to respond to the rumor.

She wrote: 'Are we still giving air time to LIARS who just want air time?'

In another upload she wrote: 'I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued.

'Disclaimer when you watch just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE.'

She then tagged Done and Done Productions and added: 'You are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.'

Chelsea also publicly slammed 'diabolical' Nicole and the production company.

She said: 'Good morning everyone except for @nicoleyoung. You are the most diabolical piece of [wastebasket emoji] I've ever met.

'You wanna start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true. Okay let's see how this works out for you…. @done_and_done_productions where is your moral ground and integrity?? Spreading lies for views is so damaging.'

In another post, Chelsea tagged Nicole, Bre and Mary Bonnet's Instagram handles, adding: 'You lie, placate, steal meanwhile your own [wastebasket emoji] has landed some of you in lawsuits. I've kept quiet until now, but this is not okay.'
