Ellen DeGeneres is returning to the small screen for what she says is the last comedy special of her career.
The former talk show host, 66, who recently sold her sprawling Southern California mansion for $96 million, will star in Netflix's Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval.
The special was shot while the comic was on a multi-city standup tour that kicked off in San Diego in June.
In the show, the funny woman said she will cover being 'kicked out of show business' after her daytime talk show ended following allegations of intimidation, racism and sexual misconduct.
The Emmy winning show ended in May 2022 after 19 successful seasons.

Three producers were fired after parent company Warner Media conducted an internal investigation.
'To answer the questions everyone is asking me — Yes, I’m going to talk about it. Yes, this is my last special. Yes, Portia really is that pretty in real life,' DeGeneres said in a statement.
She is also serving as producer on the special, along with her wife, Portia de Rossi and Emmy winning writer-director Ben Winston.
For Your Approval is the first special DeGeneres has put together since 2018's Relatable.
According to a description, the comedian will tackle a variety of topics, 'From the mundane world of raising chickens and parallel parking to the harsh reality of becoming a brand name celebrity, she goes deep into her stand-up roots and brings the laughs through life’s most real and absurd realities.'
DeGeneres made history as the first lead actor in a series to come out as gay while starring in her own self-named sitcom Ellen, which aired from 1996-1998.
After that series ended, the actress made occasional guest appearances on shows such as Will and Grace and Edtv.
Her voice work as Dory in the hit Disney/Pixar animated adventure Finding Nemo helped put the shine back on her star in 2003, the same year she launched The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Just because For Your Approval will be her last standup special, doesn't mean DeGeneres is retiring from showbusiness.
She has been working behind the scenes as a producer on the upcoming Little Funny in which rising comic Saffron 'Saffy' Herndon gets advice from established comedians such as Chris Rock, Wanda Sykes and Iliza Shlesinger.
The multi-hyphenate is also the executive producer on the movie Couple Time, starring Allyn Rachel and Patrick Carlyle as a young married couple living in Los Angeles as they grow together and approach live through their shared quirky lens.
