Those visiting the US might be wondering which cities will give them the best time for their bucks.

A new study by WalletHub has compared the 50 states across 26 key indicators to determine the most 'fun' state in the country. 

The study compared the states across two key categories, 'Entertainment & Recreation' and 'Nightlife', which included indicators such as movie costs to accessibility of national parks to nightlife options. 

Here are the Top 10 states across America to have the most fun in:

1. Florida

But for those who are not as interested in the nightlife, Florida also has picturesque shorelines and a huge variety of arts, entertainment and recreation places across its cities. 

2. California

Apart from having nearly perfect weather all year, California also boasts the second-most attractions across the country including the Golden Gate Bridge and Griffith Observatory.
