President Donald Trump fired back after Chief Justice John Roberts publicly rebuked him for calling for a 'radical left lunatic' judge to be impeached.
'For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision,' Roberts said in a curt statement issued by the Supreme Court. 'The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.'
Speaking to Fox News' Laura Ingraham, Trump said that Roberts' statement didn't call him out by name.
'He didn't mention my name… But many people have called for his impeachment, the impeachment of this judge. I don't know who the judge is, but he's radical left. He was Obama-appointed.'
The president made good on his declaration to release over 80,000 pages of secret documents related to the assassination of JFK.
The thousands of pages documents were posted on the National Archives website on Thursday evening.

A top Republican leading a task force to declassify national secrets has revealed that more documents about John F. Kennedy's assassination are expected.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., a leader of the House of Representatives Task Force on Declassification and Transparency, announced late Tuesday night that additional files on JFK's murder will be forthcoming from the Director of National Intelligence.
'Per DNI, there are still more docs being uploaded to archives website,' Luna posted on X late Tuesday evening. 'They are scanning and uploading in real time.'
'All documents can be viewed in person at the [National Archives] facility in College Park, Maryland if you don’t want to wait for them to be uploaded online,' the 35-year-old Republican wrote.
Earlier that day, thousands of files were released by the National Archives after President Donald Trump promised to expose the classified documents earlier this year.

Trump floats shock new Ukraine nuclear deal in call with Zelensky
Talks to try to bring about a ceasefire in Russia's war in Ukraine took a new turn Wednesday as Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky discussed U.S. 'ownership' of its nuclear plants.
The new element came in a joint statement issued by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz hours after Trump spoke by phone with the Ukrainian president.
The potential energy cooperation came up amid a stalled minerals deal that Trump says will provide security for Ukraine and allow it to reimburse the U.S. for billions spent arming and aiding the country.
'President Trump also discussed Ukraine’s electrical supply and nuclear power plants. He said that the United States could be very helpful in running those plants with its electricity and utility expertise,' according to the statement.

Senior Trump advisor Steve Witkoff said Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin were ‘likely’ to meet in person, following their talk Wednesday that resulted in a partial ceasefire that is already being questioned.
“They have a great rapport together, they had a great rapport in the first Trump administration, it was on display yesterday,’ Witkoff told Bloomberg News at the White House.
He also addressed Ukrainian claims that Russia had already violated a commitment not to attack its energy infrastructure, following drone attacks overnight. He said he had it on ‘good information’ that Putin issued an order within 10 minutes of his call with Trump ‘directing Russian forces not to be attacking any Ukrainian infrastructure.’
He said any attacks that happened last night’ ‘would have happened before that order was given. He said the Russiand told him this morning that seven drones had been on their way and were shot down by Russian forces.
Zelensky said Russia’s claims were ‘at odds with reality,’ while Russia said Ukraine struck near one of its pipelines.
‘Even last night, after Putin´s conversation with ... Trump, when Putin said that he was allegedly giving orders to stop strikes on Ukrainian energy, there were 150 drones launched overnight, including on energy facilities,' Zelensky said.

Kendal Aaron Todd, 42, uploaded a video to his social media page that included confusing rants about the president and concerning behavior that caused authorities to intervene.

Zelensky: Russia struck Ukrainian infrastructure

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukrainian civilian infrastructure was hit even after President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin agreed to a partial ceasefire.
‘Unfortunately, there have been hits, specifically on civilian infrastructure,’ Zelensky wrote on X. ‘A direct hit by a ‘Shahed’ drone on a hospital in Sumy, strikes on cities in the Donetsk region, and attack drones currently in the skies over the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Cherkasy regions.’
In a lengthy phone call on Tuesday, Trump and Putin agreed to an 'energy and infrastructure ceasefire’ that would last 30 days.
‘Today, Putin effectively rejected the proposal for a full ceasefire. It would be right for the world to respond by rejecting any attempts by Putin to prolong the war,’ Zelensky said of Russia’s move.
