First son Eric Trump paid a visit to the White House Monday to take part in a ceremony to give 'Medals of Sacrifice' to the families of fallen police officers.

The middle Trump son attended a funeral with his father in early December for three Palm Beach, Florida motorcycle police officers who died in a roadside crash.

'My father and I attended that funeral that day and I can't tell you how moving that experience was. And one simple question was asked - why is there no medal, medal of valor, medal of sacrifice, that commemorates law enforcement officers, first responders wh have fallein in the line of duty,' Eric Trump said.

Eric said he and Florida Rep. Brian Mast - who was in the Oval Office on Monday - were going to 'take care of this problem.'

'We're gonna get involved. And the first call that was made was to the great Arnaud family, who owns Tiffany's, and they said without hesitation that they'd be honored to design something absolutely beautiful that's a tribute to these incredible officers,' Eric said.

The president then handed out three-Tiffany designed medals to the families of officers Ignacio 'Dan' Diaz, Luis Paez and Butch Waller.

'All of Florida mourns their loss and today our entire nation joins in honoring these three incredible patriots taken from us much too soon,' the president said.

Trump demands to know why Biden's cancer diagnosis wasn't disclosed earlier warning 'somebody is not telling the facts'

By Nikki Schwab, Chief Campaign Correspondent

President Donald Trump hinted that he wanted to see President Joe Biden's medical doctor be investigated after the former president's shock cancer diagnosis.

In the Oval Office on Monday, Trump was asked to react to Biden's diagnosis and was asked if he planned to call his predecesor.

Trump responded by calling the news 'very sad' but then segued and suggested that there might have been a cover-up, as others on the political right have floated.

'I'm surprised that it wasn't, you know, the public wasn't notified a long time ago because to get to stage nine, that's a long time,' Trump said.

After boasting about acing his own physical - and noting that he had taken a cognitive test - he suggested something was awry with Biden's White House doctor.

'I think that if you look, it's the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine. There was nothing wrong with him,' Trump said. 'Maybe it was the same doctor, and somebody is not telling the facts.'

He said that while he felt 'badly' about it, 'I think people should try and find out what happened,' the president added.

Melania makes extremely unusual move as she signs revenge porn bill alongside Trump and closest allies

By Emily Goodin, Senior White House Correspondent and Nikki Schwab, Chief Campaign Correspondent

Melania Trump touted her first major legislative success on Monday, when she joined President Donald Trump in signing the Take It Down Act into law.

It's unusual for a first lady to add her signature to a bill becoming law, but Melania Trump championed the legislation, which increases protection for victims of revenge porn, and met with lawmakers on Capitol Hill to lobby for its passage.

Melania spoke first at the Rose Garden signing ceremony, calling the legislation a 'national victory that will help parents and families protect children from online exploitation.'

'This legislation is a powerful step forward in our efforts to ensure that every American, especially young people, can feel better protected from their image or identity being abused,' she continued.

She called artificial intelligence and social media the 'digital candy for the next generation.'

'Sweet, addictive and engineered to have an impact on the cognitive development of our children,' the first lady explained. 'But unlike sugar, this new technologies can be weaponized, shape beliefs and sadly affect emotions and even be deadly.'

President Donald Trump spoke about his call with Vladimir Putin – revealing the Russian president complimented his wife.

‘Putin just said they respect your wife a lot. I said what about me?’ Trump joked while speaking after first lady Melania Trump at a bill singing for the ‘Take It Down Act’ dealing with online harassment.

‘We just spent two and a half hours talking to Vladimir Putin, and I think some progress has been made. It’s a terrible situation going on over there, so hopefully we did something,’ he said, following an upbeat official White House readout.

‘We’re trying to get that whole thing wrapped up. What a shame that it ever started in the first place.’

Trump provided an update on the Putin call at an event promoting the legislation his wife championed in the Capitol. After he signed it into law, he invited the first lady to put her own signature to the official document, which she did.

FBI Director Kash Patel launches scathing terrorism and drug trafficking accusation at Canada

By Katelyn Caralle, Senior U.S. Political Reporter

FBI Director Kash Patel dropped a major bombshell on Sunday by accusing Canada of allowing drugs and terrorists to flow over the northern border into the U.S.

He said that Mexico has done more to partner with Washington, D.C. to stop those on the terrorist watch list and other bad actors from getting over the border, and he told Canada to 'step up' to the plate.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly proposed that Canada become the 51st U.S. state to avoid tariffs and create a mutually beneficial relationship.

Patel told Maria Bartrimono that of the 300 known or suspected terrorists who came into the U.S. last year, 85 percent came through the northern border.

Breaking:Trump wraps 'excellent' two-hour phone call with Putin without Ukraine ceasefire deal

Just completed my two hour call with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. I believe it went very well. Russia and Ukraine will immediately start negotiations toward a Ceasefire and, more importantly, an END to the War. The conditions for that will be negotiated between the two parties, as it can only be, because they know details of a negotiation that nobody else would be aware of. The tone and spirit of the conversation were excellent. If it wasn’t, I would say so now, rather than later. Russia wants to do largescale TRADE with the United States when this catastrophic “bloodbath” is over, and I agree.
There is a tremendous opportunity for Russia to create massive amounts of jobs and wealth. Its potential is UNLIMITED. Likewise, Ukraine can be a great beneficiary on Trade, in the process of rebuilding its Country. Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin immediately. I have so informed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, of Ukraine, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, President Emmanuel Macron, of France, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, of Italy, Chancellor Friedrich Merz, of Germany, and President Alexander Stubb, of Finland, during a call with me, immediately after the call with President Putin. The Vatican, as represented by the Pope, has stated that it would be very interested in hosting the negotiations. Let the process begin!

Vice President JD Vance spoke to reporters Monday about the ‘impasse’ between the parties in efforts to get a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.

‘We realize there’s a bit of an impasse here, and I think the president’s going to say to President Putin, ‘Look, are you serious? Are you real about this?’ Vance told reporters aboard Air Force Two on a day Trump was speaking to Putin.

Vance met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Rome as leaders attended Pope Leo XIV's inaugural Mass.

He played a critical role in the infamous Oval Office standoff between President Trump and Zelensky, telling him it was ‘disrespectful’ for him to try to ‘litigate’ his position in front of the American people.

He also said it 'takes two to tango,' adding: 'I know the President's willing to do that, but if Russia is not willing to do that, then we're eventually just going to say, this is not our war.' A U.S. withdrawal of support is unlikely to be viewed in Moscow as a sanction. The U.S. has been Ukraine's top supplier of military aid.

By Katelyn Caralle, Senior U.S. Political Reporter

President Donald Trump turned his attacks towards former 2024 rival Kamala Harris just hours after Joe Biden's devastating prostate cancer diagnosis was made public.

He demanded a 'major investigation' into Harris after she dolled out massive amounts of campaign cash for major celebrity appearances from the likes of single-name icons Beyonce, Oprah and Bono.

Trump claims that Harris' lofty spending was using donations to pay for endorsements, which is illegal.

Trump to speak to Putin and Zelensky

President Donald Trump is hoping separate phone calls Monday with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will make progress toward a ceasefire in the war in Ukraine.

Trump expressed his hopes for a 'productive day' Monday — and a ceasefire — in a social media post.

His effort will also include calls to NATO leaders.

Russia, which launched what Kyiv called a 'record' drone attack on Ukraine at the weekend, said Monday it would prefer to end the conflict through diplomacy and described the upcoming call as 'important.'
