Legendary TV host Bryant Gumbel rushed to hospital after suffering 'medical emergency'

TV icon Bryant Gumbel is being treated in a New York hospital after suffering a reported 'medical emergency.'

The former Today host, 77, also worked on shows covering the NFL, MLB, college basketball and the Olympics during long career with NBC.

But on Tuesday, TMZ reported that Gumbel had to be rushed from his Manhattan apartment block to the hospital on Monday night.
